The former president of the republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama turns 61 today and a plethora of messages from well wishers have flooded social media including from his beloved wife, Lordina.
The former first lady, Lordina Mahama took to Facebook to wish her lovely husband a happy birthday and had a special message for him.
“You stole my heart and I have never wanted it back. You see through to my soul with your calm eyes. Your captivating love and care for us, has left no doubt that I am the luckiest woman alive to be loved by you.
Happy birthday my love. I promise to stand by you for many more birthdays to come” She wrote.
Mr. Mahama is currently the leader and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC and will be looking to secure a second term in the 2020 presidential election after he served only one term from 2012 to 2016, suffering a defeat to the NPP’s Nana Addo in the 2016 general elections.

John Mahama (born 29 November 1958) is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012, and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.
Mahama is a communication expert, historian, and writer. He was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and Minister of Communications from 1998 to 2001. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress.
