Founder and leader of Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Oyedepo has warned the Nigerian government against plans to shutdown churches in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. There has been suggestions that, churches where people gather enmasse should be shutdown for the time being to help check the spread of Coronavirus.
In a new video we sighted online, the pastor is seen boasting about his powers and that of his church, saying that he has even healed nurses and doctors of the Coronavirus in his church by laying hands on them.
“It’s only in this hall that we laid hands on covid-19 patients and still walk free. Nurses and doctors, we have healed them; 29 of them at a go and led them to Christ”, he bragged.
He dared the government to call him to discuss whether churches should be shutdown or not. He queried whether the authority has been able to shut down cult houses, saying that the people in authority even visit those ‘Ogidi’ houses.
He warned that whoever attempts to shutdown churches, especially, Winners Chapel International, fire will fall and consume the fellow. Watch the video below.
