An NPP polling station Chairman at the Asante Akim North Constituency whose suspension from the party didn’t go down well with him has invoked curses on the constituency executives.
The unidentified man dressed in only a dirtied white cloth around his waist and a red bandana tied round his head can be seen in the video calling on the gods of a river to deal with the executives who he claims met with delegates even though nominations had not been opened but suspended him for a similar act.
“If you have met and spoken with someone who is a delegate, while nominations hasn’t been opened, god , I go into a pact with you today, if they didn’t suspend themselves it decided to suspend me, then god, deal with them”
The Asante Akim North constituency NPP has seen its fair share of factionalism with some factions accusing the incumbent of incompetence, neglect and corruption.
In April, the incumbent, Hon. Andy Appiah Kubi sued a radio station presenter and his panelists which included an Assembly Man for slander whe they quizzed about his use of the MPs common fund.
