In what is a shockingly surprising display of exactly what the church stands against and by none other than a shepherd of God’s flock, a pastor is seen in a viral video pouring libation to gods in his church.
In the video, the pastor is seen holding two bottles of gin while a lot more laid on the ground, calling on family gods and totems followed by usual incantations and calling of gods of the earth and sky, as is typical of an Akan libation pouring.

Pastors in Ghana and indeed Africa of the Pentecostal and Charismatic denomination or what is know in Ghana as ‘One Man Churches’ have been receiving a lot of stick for the totally unconventional directions and immoral display of lavish and expensive materials while others dupe desperate members who seek their spiritual help to life’s harsh realities.
To curb this menace, the parliament of Ghana is considering a bill to regulate religious activities in the country as the totally unregulated arena has proven a safe haven for fraudsters to make overnight wealth with no questions asked in the name of doing God’s work, after all, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm”, sayeth the Bible.
