The former president is vying for the flagbearership position of his party NDC and is currently on tour at the volta region to convince delegates to choose him to lead NDC to the 2020 battle.
But what has really caught the attention of Ghanaians are the 17 V8 vehicles that formed part of John Mahama’s convoy.
Some Ghanaians are questioning how an opposition party can afford these vehicles and also run them, especially when they have been complaining about the economy.
The opposition was also critical of the president when a large number of vehicles formed part of the presidents convoy when he toured the Northern region back in 2018. It even led to the president ordering all accompanying dignitaries board a bus when he toured the Ashanti Region.
