A hilarious but sad video we sighted online has a man suspected to be a carrier of the novel Coronavirus battling with staff of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) when the staff came to drag him to a quarantine center.

The man in the video is seen been pushed out by the health workers amidst resistance from him. Looking at the video, one may think it’s an arrest of a hardened criminal but not a suspected Covid-19 patient.

Ever since Africa recorded her first case of the dreaded virus, there has been a general concern about how suspected carriers are treated at the quarantine centers.
Just some few days ago, wife of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie took to twitter to lament about the poor treatment meted out to them when they were undergoing the two weeks mandatory quarantine after returning from America.

Due to the poor treatment at the quarantine centers, many people prefer self isolating at their private residences to being taken to the quarantine centers. Watch the video below.
