Barely do one get a chance to dine with a regional Minister even in a fancy restaurant, but students of Bonzu Kaku senior high school were in for a surprise last Thursday.
The Western regional Minister, Honourable Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah as part of his tour of the Ellembele Constituency paid the school a visit to ascertain how teaching and learning was going and take note of the needed infrastructural and material needs for addressing.
To the surprise of everyone the Hon. Minister decided to have lunch with the students at the Dining hall. He ate the rice and stew sitting among the students, a gesture the students appreciated and has been hailed by many after the video surfaced.
As the saying goes, a wise leader is one who dines with kings but never lose the common touch.
