The University of Education, Winneba, has dismissed Nigerian English lecturer, Professor Augustine Nwagbara, following the unsavory comments he made about the country.
In a video that went viral over the last week, the Professor made comments including declaring that Ghana’s education is 80% inferior to that of Nigeria.
He was arrested on Tuesday for inciting Nigerians against Ghanaians and let go on bail with a caution.

In a release signed by the Registrar of UEW, the university said it took the decision to dismiss him because the contents of the video was disturbing.
“After subjecting Prof. Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara to internal disciplinary process, finds him culpable of gross misconduct and has, accordingly, dismissed him”.
