Head pastor of Winners Chapel International, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo has cautioned christians who are reluctant when it comes to paying their monthly tithe against incurring the wrath of God.
The pastor intimated that those who fail to pay their tithe are under financial curse. According to him, a person can never progress in life if the fellow is not tithing.

The new generation of christians seem to be dragging their feet when it comes to paying off tithe. They consider it as a scam perpetrated on them by their various head pastors.
There are many millionaire pastors such as pastor Oyedepo who is worth more than $ 150m ministering over poor worshippers who can’t afford three square meals a day.

This has led a lot of people to question the use of the tithes they pay if it can’t be used to help even the needy in the church but can be used to fund the lavish lifestyles of the pastor and his family. But pastor Oyedepo says refusing to pay your tithe for whatever reason is akin to cutting the root to your financial progress.
He tweeted: “Tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation. Prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing, because when you’re not paying your tithe, you’re under a financial curse.”
