Three Suspects Escape From Police Cells at New Jejeti

Nsemwoha.com is reliably informed that three inmates have escaped from cells at New Jejeti police station in the Anyinam District, Eastern region.

The three suspects namely Issahaku Fuseini 21, Kwame Awuah 24 and Kwaku Addo also 24 were being held in custody for court today Monday August 19, 2019.

They were arrested for the offence of stealing, but all the three escaped from lawful custody.

The incident occured at around 4am this dawn when the only officer on duty, named as Corporal Asiedu Bright found on a routine check that the inmates had removed one of the wooden boards used as ceiling at the roof and escaped leaving the two big padlocks on the cell’s door intact.

Police are on the hunt for the escapees.
