In a show of care and selflessness, Liverpool and Spain International soccer star, Thiago Alcantara gave his jacked to the child mascot who escorted him to the field.
As is custom in many football matches, children are used as player escorts to shore up their interest in the game and since winter is already here, the child mascot was obviously feeling cold due to his short sleeve top.
Thiago realizing the boy was feeling cold, removed his jacket and gave it to the boy to keep him warm, a gesture which his melted the hearts of many football fans the world over.
Thiago recently joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich in a transfer that set Liverpool back by £27.3 Million.
