In her view, there is no difference between the African police and the racist American cops. Efia Odo’s message is against the backdrop of how the police in Africa look people in the face and declare them as criminals without a record of their criminal activities.
Efia argues that, one can’t take the looks of an individual and declare the person as a criminal. She gave a clue to the police on how to spot the criminals by saying that ‘most African criminals wear suits’.

Just like in America where a racist white American cop will look at a black man and declare him a criminal without any evidence, the African police are also using same tactics to identify criminals which in most cases are not even criminals.
Her tweet reads: “African police and white racist American cops are no different. African police look at you and judge you based off of your looks. They are discriminative and prejudice. How can someone look like a criminal? Most african criminals wear suits, remember that.”
