Dada JoeSupport Base, a non governmental organization in collaboration with the Ningo Prampram district Assembly, have organized free health screening for the people of Afienya in the Ningo Prampram district as part of its annual community outreach and in celebration of the organization’s 3rd year anniversary.
Community members were screened for vitals and diseases such as Blood pressure, Weight, blood glucose, Malaria, Hepatitis B and free medication for the sick. There were also free books and clothing for children.
Speaking at the event, the DCE thanked SupportBase for their commitment to the welfare of poor and underprivileged Ghanaians and promised his office was ever ready to support such programs to bring health and wellness to the people.
The Founder of Support Base, Lady Kate told Nsemwoha.com “SB is dedicated to the welfare of Ghanaians especially the poor and we carry out programs like this every year in support of government’s efforts to alleviate poverty, encourage reading and improve healthcare for the ordinary Ghanaian.”
