Stonebwoy Finally Speaks On ‘Cold Treatment’ He Received In Nigeria [Video]

Reggae and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has broken silence on a video which went viral and captured Nigerians standing aloof when he was performing at a recently held awards in Nigeria.

Stonebwoy who was performing at the Soundcity MVP Awards in Nigeria was welcomed with little to no fanfare and excitement compared to what he would have received in his native Ghana.

But Stonebwoy speaking to the issue for the first time at a meet the press event he organized, said he believes no one can force people to like their music or craft.

He was responding to a question which sought to know whether he was bitter about the whole experience.

Stonebwoy went on to say that the onus is on Ghanaian artists, himself included to work hard to penetrate the Nigeria market as much or even more than their Nigerian counterparts have penetrated the Ghanaian market.
