Ghanaian musician Michael Owusu Addo, known globally as Sarkodie, has given a hint of his political ambitions in a post on social media.

The respected rapper posed a question in a post on his Facebook page, asking fans if he should stand as presidential candidate in 2024.
Captioning pictures in which he spotted a nice caftan and looking very ‘political’, Sarkodie quizzed “Presidential candidate 2024 anaa mose?”

Sarkodie in the last few years have been commenting on issues of social concern, starting with his song on “Dumsor” which also addressed the massive corruption that went on in the erstwhile John Mahama administration.
He has been tipped by many to follow the trend of entertainment personalities going into politics, with the latest examples being John Dumelo and Obour.
