Embattled Menzgold Gold Dealership company has released a press statement urging government of Ghana to revoke its existing Interpol Red notice alert placed on their CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, also known as NAM1.
This they say, will enable Nana Appiah to pursue the $39million owed by a Dubai company called Horizon Royal Diamonds in order to settle its “Debtors and Liabilities”.
The company is beseeching the government to either revoke the alert in its entirety or allow for a bail bond.
It can be recalled that on April 9th, 2019, A Dubai court ordered that the CEO NAM be freed on charges of fraud and the Dubai based precious minerals company Horizon pay its debt owed the Menzgold company.
The news came as a relief to Menzgold customers who saw light at the end of a very dark tunnel, but then the judgment was appealed by Horizon and they’re now back in court with the interpol red notice still hanging over his head.
