The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has lifted the restrictions on the number of passengers public transport operators can carry in his 14th address to the nation since March 12.
Taxis, buses and aircrafts were ordered to operate at a reduced capacity in order to ensure the social distancing protocols were observed among passengers.
The latest update marks the coming into force of phase 2 of the easing of restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the raging virus.
