The New Patriotic Party NPP through it’s general secretary John Boadu has released a statement informing party faithfuls, aspirants and the general public that it has slated 28th September 2019 as the day their parliamentary primaries for ‘Orphan’ constituencies will take place.
Orphan constituencies the statement defined as those constituencies where the party doesn’t have a sitting Member of parliament. The date for the other constituencies will be communicated at a later date, the statement said.
The party admonished all aspirants to follow the rules and guidelines in order to maintain the party’s enviable stature as one with the finest culture of democracy in the country and Africa as a whole.
