The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo starts his 5day tour of the Ashanti region today, 10th August.
Usually, ministers and other dignitaries who accompany the president on tours ride in individual vehicles forming a long convoy which distracts traffic flow. There was also some public complaints of too long a convoy when the president toured the northern region.
In the backdrop of this the president has told all ministers and others wishing to accompany him on the tour to board an STC bus to avoid the long convoy.
