Former Accra Mayor, and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency, Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, has remarried seven years after he lost his wife.
At a solemn ceremony at Mamprobi in Accra yesterday, Mr Vanderpuije engaged one Cynthia Amerley Ayiku.
Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije lost his late wife, Gifty Naa Adei Vanderpuije, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in June, 2012.

About Afred Okoe Vanderpuije
Alfred Oko Vanderpuije was born on 4 November 1955. He is a Ghanaian politician. A Jamestown native, he was born and bred at Mamprobi, Darkuman and Dansoman at various stages of his childhood.
He was the former Mayor of Accra, installed in that office by President John Atta Mills in 2009 and completing his second term in 2017. He is currently the member of parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
