Bice Osei Kuffour, popular known as Obour, organized a clean up exercise in five communities (Bompata, Wankyi, Adomfe, Kurofa and Morso) in the Asante-Akim South Municipality. The highly patronized clean up exercise was rounded up by a huge musical concert in Adomfe.
Dignitaries like Nana Adomfe Agyei II, Adomfehene; Dr. Kofi Abban, CEO of Rigworld & Axiss Shipping; Dr. S. K. Boafo, CEO of S.K. Boafo Transport, graced the programme that was highly patronized by the chiefs, community leaders and people of the five communities.
Items, including sanitation equipments, personal hygiene materials, and educational materials were presented to chiefs, communities, unit committees, school children and other deserving individuals from the five communities.
President Obour, as he is popular called, advised the beneficiaries of the items presented to make good use of them and also endeavour to maintain them. He promised to help Asante-Akyem achieve development.
The programme was organized under the auspices of the Christiana Addo Memorial Foundation, a charitable foundation he (Obour) set up in memory of his mother.
