Honourable Bryan Acheampong, Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency has offered 70 teachers in his constituency a scholarship to pursue their masters degree.
The Minister of state at the presidency in Charge of National Security presented GHC208,250.00 Scholarship Cheque to the 70 committed and hardworking teachers who has served the District for 10 years and above to pursue their Masters Degree at the Presbyterian University College in Abetifi Kwahu.
In attendance at the ceremony were Hon. Isaac Agyapong DCE Kwahu East, Prof. Adow Obeng President President Presbyterian University College Abetifi, Barffour Yeboah Asuamah Presiding Member Kwahu East, Mrs. Ivy Asantewaa Owusu District Director of Education Kwahu East. Bryan Acheampong (born 27 November 1972) is a Ghanaian politician and Member of Parliament of Abetifi constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He is a member of the New Patriotic Party of Ghana. He succeeded Peter Wiafe Pepera, who died while in office. He is currently a Minister of State at the Office of the President
