During his tour of Europe promoting his reign album, Shatta Wale told fans gathered at the O2 arena that “Ghana is a village”. A statement which was received with mixed reactions, some concurred while others bashed shatta for giving Ghana a bad name on such an International stage.

To the surprise of many, this statement made an appearance in an end of semester examinations in the ‘Fundamentals of human geography’ paper of the Environment and resource studies course at the University of Development Studies.

The question asked students to ‘State five reasons why Shatta wale described the whole Ghana as a village’.
