The defence minister of the republic of Ghana, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul has, on behalf of the president, unveiled a statue of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama at Airport hills roundabout today, May 29th, 2019.
The statue was erected in honour of the late military officer who was slain by a mob at Denkyira Obuasi in 2017.
Major Maxwell exhibited bravery in the face of death, refusing to fire his gun at the crowd who charged at him and eventually took his life.
