Concerns have been raised by citizens over a drain being constructed at Pokuase by a contractor working on the Pokuase Interchange. The supposed water canal is being constructed using 6inch blocks instead of concrete.
It has also been noticed with concern the lack of a supervising engineer at the site to advice appropriately the contruction of the canal which could reek havoc should the inferior material being used be breached by a heavy current of water.
Beside the possible danger it poses, it will also be a liability on state coffers should the inevitable happen.
