Ethical hacking group which goes by the name Anonymous and known for exposing corrupt dealings in the interest of the public, has made a statement so profound we needed to bring it to the attention of our cherished readers.
This comes amidst the crackdown by security forces on mass protests that’s erupted in various cities in the United States following the killing of George Floyd, an unarmed African American in Minneapolis by white former police officer Derek Chauvin who knelt on his neck.
The group who have expressed support for the protesters, in a post on Twitter said it is out of place for the populace to fear governments, saying, rather it is governments who have to be afraid of the people.
“People shouldn’t be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.” The post read
People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people. #V

The statement which is obviously meant to spur the protesters on have since gone viral, amassing many likes and retweets.
