The ministry of foreign affairs and regional integration has released a new schedule of fees required for one to acquire a Ghanaian passport.

The new fees sees an increase in both the cost of application for the Ordinary and expedited application forms.
There has also been an increase in the attestation of legal documents fees and that of travel certificate.

Now one can pay an extra GHC50 for a 48-page passport instead of the usual 32 page Ghanaian passport for both ordinary or expedited.
The new fee regime take effect from 1st February, 2020.

1. Ordinary
- Old Fee (32 pages): GHC50
- New fee (32 pages): GHC100
- Fee for 48 pages: GHC150
2. Expedited
- Old Fee (32 pages): GHC 100
- New fee (32 pages): GHC150
- Fee for 48 pages: GHC 200
ATTESTATION OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS
- Old Fee: GHC25
- New fee: GHC37
TRAVEL CERTIFICATE
- Old fee: GHC25
- New fee: GHC37
