The president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has extended the ban in place on social gatherings of any sort.
This was announced in his 9th address to the nation on the measures taken by government to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. The ban and the closure of our borders will remain in place until 31st May, 2020.
The announcement is contrary to a stern warning issued by his potential political opponent and pastor, Christian Kwabena Andrews, a.k.a, Osofo Kyiri Abosom of the Life Assembly Worship Centre and his party, Ghana union Movement, GUM.
Kyiri Abosom in his a video, warned the president of dire consequences should he refuse to lift the ban on social gathering so as to allow church service to resume.
