The president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-addo has announced the easing of restrictions on social gatherings, paving way for religious and educational activities to commence.
This was announced in the president’s 10th address to the nation, detailing the measures taken to curb the spread of the pandemic.
Effective Friday 5th June, religious activities can begin but with 25 percent capacity and services not lasting beyond 1 hour.
The president also announced the reopening of schools but for only final year students at the Junior, Senior high and tertiary institutions among other sectors.
