Popular Ghanaian actress and movie producer Matilda Asare has finally opened up on why she decided to title her up coming movie as Tetteh Quarshie.
According to her, it’s time Ghanaians start selling their culture and made in Ghana goods and she’s also doing her best to sell Ghana through that movie.
Speaking to Zion Felix on The Uncut Show, she voiced out that, her management and herself came to a conclusion to choose Tete Quarshie not because he’s great than those who fought for Ghana but because he also played a major role when it comes to cocoa farming, a major source of foreign exchange for Ghana.
She added that, Ghanaians should watch out because the mentality that the Ghanaian movie industry has collapsed is totally false and that they are ready the hit the international market with the Tetteh Quarshie movie.
