Ladies who take transport money but don’t show up can be jailed 5 years – Policewoman advises men

A female police officer has educated the public, especially men on the usual occurence these days where ladies they’re interested in take monies for transport but never show up.

The Police explains the act is tantamount to fraud, a crime which carries a maximum sentence of five years.

Some women take advantage of men who express interest in them and ask for transport money to visit them but never show up.

The situation is prevalent in long distance relationships especially and the expectant Males are made to wait in vain even after sending transport money requested.

The officer said the Act 29 section 132 of the criminal code declares the situation a crime of fraud and one punishable by law.
