Ghanaian international songstress Wiyaala, has blasted some media critics who have allegedly disrespected her name by saying she doesn’t really matter in the Ghanaian music industry.
An incensed Wiyaala in a video posted on her Instagram page, said criticisms that she isn’t focused on plying her music in Ghana but abroad are moot because the Ghanaian music industry doesn’t reward musicians.
She said she wouldn’t get in the act of following trends, being controversial and doing gibberish music just so she can win awards in Ghana because, she isn’t an “Artist of the year” kind of musician but a Forever Kind, saying her music will be enjoyed even long after she is gone.
Wiyaala also sounded a stern warning to the supposed industry players and bloggers, specifically mentioning Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, to keep her name out of their discussions if they actually believe she doesn’t count in the Ghanaian music industry.
