Ex president and recently elected flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress NDC has been presented officially to the party’s council of elders.
H.E John Dramani Mahama won the flagbearership election by a whopping 95%, showing the party’s unreserved support for his candidature come 2020 general elections.
He wrote on his website after the meeting: “I had the honour of being introduced, officially today, to the Council of Elders of our party, the NDC.
We, as always, had fruitful discussions on a number of issues, and I took the opportunity to express my appreciation for their support and the wisdom they’ve always found time to share with me. I also assured the Council of my determination to lead and build the NDC into a stronger and united organisation.”
