Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata has opened up on why he doesn’t compose songs in the English language.
Kofi Kinaata in an interview with Ace Journalist, Abieku Santana on Okay FM evening drive “Ekwanso Dwoodwoo’ revealed that, as a Fante, he is proud to represent his local language.
Kinaata was answering a question on the reason why he doesn’t compose songs in the English Language. Kofi Kinaata in reply to Abeiku Santana’s question, asked him if he had ever heard the late Micheal Jackson singing in ‘Fante’, a tribal language found in Ghana?
There have been speculations questioning the Ghanaian musician’s fluency in the English Language, with some alleging it is the reason why he doesn’t compose songs in the English Language.
