Ghanaian and Nigerian phone traders clash at Circle [Video]


Ghanaian and Nigerian traders dealing in phones and accessories have clashed at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle over rights to operate.

The Ghanaian traders, Nsemwoha News is informed, are accusing the Nigerians of breaking the law which bans Foreigners from engaging in retail trading in the country.

The Ghanaians operating shops in the area are also accusing them of causing a slump in the prices of goods due to the cheap pricing of their merchandise, making business slow for the Ghanaians.

The local traders are said to have locked the shops of Nigerian traders in the area yesterday and violence broke when the Nigerians returned to open up their shops this morning.
