Sad news reaching Nsemwoha.com this morning indicates that one of the UP/PP/NPP’s seminal figures, JH Mensah, has fallen today.
From his Chairmanship of NPP-UK (1992-1996), coming home in 1996 to rejoin our struggle to restore constitutional democracy in Ghana, becoming NPP’s first Minority and Majority Leader under the fourth republican constitution.
He became our first Senior Minister under the JA Kufuor administration, he was the only surviving UP/PP/NPP Cabinet Minister, whose intellect, economic acumen and prowess and experience which shaped most of the successful JAK’s economic polices.
May the soul of the incorruptible, courageous, disciplined, indefatigable JH Mensah, rest in perfect peace.
