Ex president and flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama has been making a lot of promises going into the 2020 general elections in December.
Among these is the promise to build six new universities when given a second chance by Ghanaians.
But in an online world where one is unlikely to escape the laser sharp eyes of netizens, JM as he’s affectionately called has received a damning reply.
A netizen named Abena Phina on Facebook in reply to the ex president’s six new universities promise, said Mr. Mahama was incapable because he couldn’t even build a simple fence wall to protect the Guinea fowls he used Taxpayers money to buy in the name of creating jobs for his own kinsmen in Northern Ghana.
“Even fence to protect your guinea fowl, you couldn’t build” Abena Phina wrote.
John Mahama’s Guinea fowls
The Asongtaba guinea fowl project was part of the GHC50Million SADA program in Northern Ghana.
GH¢15million was spent on a purported Guinea fowl project while GH¢32million was purportedly spent on trees which later was found to be nonexistent.
Later, government officials of the erstwhile administration claimed the guinea fowls had flown to neighboring Burkina Faso.
