Mr. Ewusi who is currently in trouble over some missing excavators, pleaded with the high court for an out of court settlement after Mr. Kwaku Baako sued him for comments he made about Anas Aremeyaw Anas in the aftermath of his Galamsey Fraud part 1 expose.
In court, Mr. Ewusi admitted he lied about Kweku Baako and Anas Aremeyaw Anas in the wake of Galamsey Fraud Part one.

He told the High Court in Accra he does not have any evidence to back the lies neither can he afford the 25 million Ghana cedis the plaintiff was demanding as damages and therefore pleaded for an out for court settlement so he can do the needful.
