The Electoral commission has issued a press statement informing the general public its limited registration exercise will begin on Monday 17th July after the commission suspended the exercise in anticipation of an injunction.
The case brought before the Supreme court by the opposition NDC was quashed and the EC given the go ahead to register new members of the public who have recently turned 18 or over 18 but for some reason doesn’t have the biometric voter ID card.
The exercise is expected to end on 7th July.
