Social media has come to stay. It has become a powerful tool for reaching out to customers as a business person. It’s also connected the world and draws its people closer than before.

But the fake lives portrayed on these social media platforms by people is what has become worrying in society. Most people claim to be living lives that are totally not the case in reality.

The likes of Shatta Bandles are seen as millionaires from the sort of lives they put out on social media. But the reality does not support the social media lifestyle.

Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim has passed a piece of advice to her over 6 million followers on Instagram. According to the actress, people should not take what they see on social media literally as most are faked, and that, people should not wish to live like others they see on social media.

She wrote: “Don’t trust everything You see on social media, even salt looks like sugar.
Some people aren’t really all they “post” to be…
So, live your life and be content with whatever it is you have and have achieved for yourself. Do not wish to be like anyone else. Secret of social media is; Packaging is EVERYTHING! Don’t be misled.”
