The pressure on young men and women to get a partner to marry keep increasing as the days go by. Many people who succumb to the pressure from their families and friends to get married, do so hastily without recourse to compatibility. This is one of the reasons for the increase in domestic violence and divorce rate lately.

Marriage is becoming less valued as compared to the the not too distant past where among legions of goals of young people was to get a partner to settle down with. This is owed partly to the expensive way marriages are conducted these days.
There are countless married couples who are still paying the loan they secured for their weddings. The unfortunate thing is, many of those have divorced while the loan is still there to be serviced.

Nonetheless, many families are still mounting pressure on their sons and daughters to get married. Even the unemployed are not spared this kind of pressure.
A gentleman on social media is challenging the status quo by admonishing the youth not to rush into marriages. According to him, marriage is not like the the morning assembly of most lower learning institutions where late comers are reprimanded.
He took to twitter to share his opinion on the ever recurring topic of marriage. He wrote; “Don’t ever rush into marriage, it’s not morning assembly. Late comers are allowed, take your time”

His tweet contain a substance of truth. There is actually no roll call to find out who is married and who is not anywhere in the world. The ultimate goal in life should be happiness. If marriage isn’t your thing and you get pressured into it, you will have your days on earth shortened significantly.
