The deputy eastern regional minister and member of parliament for the Upper Manya Krobo constituency, Hon. Joseph Tetteh has tendered his resignation from his ministerial position.
In the said letter intercepted by nsemwoha.com dated 8th August, the Honourable minister cited the recent happenings in government especially the sacking of his “brother and senior colleague” for his decision.
He stressed the effort Hon. Agyarko put in to annex the Upper Manya Krobo seat from the NDC in the 2016 general elections.
Hon. Boakye Agyarko was recently relieved of his duty as the energy Minister by the president Nana Akufo-Addo following a controversy surrounding the novation of the AMERI agreement.
