Covid-19: President calls for national day of fasting and prayer on 25th March

The president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the people of Ghana to observe a national day of fasting and prayers on Wednesday, 25th of March.

This he said is to seek the face of God in these trying times as we brace ourselves for more potential cases of the Covid-19 in Ghana.

Speaking in his second address to the nation on the conronavirus, Nana Addo said the wellbeing of the nation amid this outbreak is also in our own hands and we must adhere to the precautionary measures.

He added that all persons coming into the nation will undergo compulsory quarantine and testing for the disease as authorities beef up efforts to stem the imported cases of the virus.
