Musician now turned politician, Bice Osei Kuffuour has come under attack by the public after his father died of the Coronavirus at the greater Accra regional hospital, Ridge.

His father arrived from the United Kingdom on 19th March and not long after started coughing heavily. He didn’t self quarantine as he had just returned from a high risk country.
He eventually ended up at the Ridge Hospital in Accra where, according to reports, his travel history was hidden from medics who reportedly asked Obour severally.

He was tested for Covid-19 but died on Friday before the tests came out, which turned out positive.
Following that, the public have pounced on Obour, who according to his statement invited his father to Accra because he had tested positive for Malaria.
But the netizens who called for Obour’s arrest claims as a politician and a knowledgeable fellow, he knew the UK was a high risk country, he could have asked his father to self quarantine, some claim he hid his dad’s travel history and therefore knowingly exposed almost all workers who came into contact with his late father and all the sick at the emergency ward at the Ridge hospital.

Nana returned from UK on 19th March after his yearly visit to the family. Upon his return he was fine but began coughing on Sunday 22nd.
