Covid-19: Ghana records first death, confirmed cases rises to 21

Ghana has unfortunately recorded its first death resulting from the coronavirus pandemic which is ravaging through the world.

This is according to the latest update on the Ghana health service portal created for information on the current situation of Covid-19 in Ghana.

The president as a result has instituted even more stringent measures aimed at curbing the importation of the virus.

Effective midnight Sunday, all borders will be closed for the next two weeks. Anyone who enters the country before that will be quarantined and tested for the virus.

Also the president has called for a a national day of fasting and prayer on Wednesday the 25th of March 2020.
