Confused black people hate slavery but love the book that supports slavery – A-Plus

Outspoken Ghanaian musician cum politician, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly referred to as A-Plus has touched on a subject which is considered so sacred to be questioned.

A-Plus has questioned the moral grounds of religious people of the Christian faith in hating on slavery and destroying statues of slave masters whiles the book that sanctioned slavery and got the black race enslaved for hundreds of years is held in high esteem by the same group of people.

The tough talking social commentator took to Instagram to share some verses in the Bible that endorses slavery. He then proceeded to run commentary on those verses. A portion of his statement reads, “You are breaking down statues of slave masters when the bible which asked them to buy slaves and treat fellow human beings as property is under your pillow”.

A-Plus intimated that Christians hating on slavery whiles having the Bible under their armpit smacks of the highest form of hypocrisy. He queried why Christians hate the one who betrayed Jesus which led to his death and the subsequent salvation of the human population.

He wrote: “After going to church and believing in a book brought to you by the white man which has this written in it you come to instagram to condemn slave trade and shout black lives matter. You are breaking down statues of slave masters when the bible which asked them to buy slaves and treat fellow human beings as property is under your pillow. Confused black people ????‍♂️????‍♂️????‍♂️ You belong to a religion which supports slave trade but you hate slave masters. You belong to a religion which believes that Jesus had to die to save us from our sins but you hate the one who betrayed Jesus. How did you expect him to die to save you? By plane crash or malaria? #blacksareconfused #blacklivesmatter”
