The Criminal investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service has released an update on the progress of the investigation into the apparent assassination of undercover Journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
In the statement, ASP David Eklu said the department had interrogated Honourable member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong and former Ghana football Association boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and taken statements from the duo.
The statement further said the police had also interrogated other persons of interest and were following several significant leads and urged the public to assist the them with any information they had regarding the murder.

MURDER OF AHMED SUALE
Ahmed Suale, an investigative journalist at the forefront of the Number 12 expose which rocked Ghana recently from the camp of Tiger Eye Private Investigators was shot 3 times near his residence at Madina, a suburb in Accra on wednesday 16th January.
His apparent assassination has received International condemnation with even US Congressman calling for the outright ban of Ken Agyapong, the rich politician who exposed the image of Ahmed on national television and allegedly incited thuggery on him for his role in the number 12 video.
