The Mother of all banks in Ghana, The Bank of Ghana has published a list of microfinance and microcredit companies that has been registered and are to remain operational across the country.
This updated list is as a result of the clean up exercise of the banking system by the central bank in order to sanitize and protect depositor’s funds.
If the microfinance or Microcredit company you’re saving or transacting with isn’t on this list, you had better be careful because the bank of Ghana will not be liable for any loss of funds.
