The president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in his 8th address to the nation on the measures taken on the issue of COVID-19 has said that the ban on social gathering has been extended.

The extension, backed by an executive instrument will remain in place for a further 2 weeks.
The president lifted the restriction of movement, also referred to as lockdown last Sunday after 3 weeks of the lockdown.

The nation’s Covid-19 count as at 26th April 2020, stood at 1550 confirmed cases, 155 recoveries and 11 deaths
