Ace Ghanaian Investigative reporter, Anas Aremeyaw Anas was on Friday November 22nd, at the maiden Ghana NiBs Innovations Awards, recognised for his outstanding contribution to the economy of Ghana.

The NiBs Innovation Awards seeks to recognise individuals and organisations that contribute in significant, sustainable and innovative ways, towards the forward march of Ghanaian industry.
The event, organised at the Kempinski Hotel assembled captains of industry, civil society leaders and distinguished individuals who in diverse ways contribute to the overall progress of our country.

Speaking to the Press after receiving the award, Mr Anas Aremeyaw Anas expressed gratitude for the recognition, and reiterated his commitment towards the fight against corruption, and to stay true to his mission of naming, shaming and (helping) jail the bad guys in society.
The next day, November 23, at the 70th anniversary Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards under the patronage of HE Dr Bawumia, Vice President of Ghana, held at the Kempinski Hotel, Mr Anas Aremeyaw Anas was again recognised for his outstanding contribution to the development of journalism in Ghana and beyond.

Commenting on his award, Mr Anas Aremeyaw Anas paid glowing tribute to his forebearers;Kwaku Sakyi-Addo, Kwesi Pratt, Komla Dumor, Ben Epson, Kabral Blay Amihere, and particularly Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, through whom he cut his journalistic teeth. “I can never be greater than him”, Anas said, in reference to his mentor, Kweku Baako.
